Cardrona extends the spring season to 18 October
Cardrona has moved its planned closing day to 18 October, with Bikes on Snow listed for the same day. Here are the dates to check.

There’s another week on Cardrona’s spring calendar. Its official season-pass page now lists 18 October 2026 as the closing date, replacing 11 October.
The resort says 2026 Season Passes, Earlybird Multi-day Passes and Multi-day Passes remain valid through the extended finish. Treble Cone’s announced closing day was 27 September, so Cardrona’s extended season is the option to check for an October visit.

Cardrona has announced lift hours of 9 am–4.30 pm from 5 October through to its planned closing day on 18 October. Check the daily snow report before travelling.

A winter finish with bikes in the mix
Cardrona’s Bikes on Snow event page lists the event for 18 October 2026. It describes a look lap followed by a race down a gravity-cross course to the base. It’s a useful date for anyone whose interests sit between snow sports and mountain biking.
Check the organiser’s current entry details before planning to race.
Check the day, not just the season
A season extension gives you another possible window; it doesn’t confirm what will operate on a particular day. Check the resort’s current conditions, lift information and event updates before travelling.
Our ReGear suggestion: give the gear you already have a once-over before deciding what you need for a late-season visit. If something needs replacing, work from fit and the job it needs to do. Another week on the calendar isn’t a reason to buy a whole new setup.
