About ReGear

Hey, I’m Laine — the person behind ReGear.

I’ve spent years getting outdoors around New Zealand, whether that’s hiking, camping, cycling, climbing or heading to the snow. One thing I kept noticing was how expensive it can be to get started, while plenty of good gear sits unused in garages, sheds and cupboards.

That’s why I started ReGear.

I find second-hand outdoor gear, clean it up where needed, check it over, photograph the actual item and clearly list any wear or faults I can see. The aim is simple: make decent gear more affordable and help it get used instead of forgotten.

ReGear is run from Auckland and ships around New Zealand. I handle the stock, photos, listings, packing and customer messages myself, so when you buy from ReGear, you’re dealing directly with me.

You can also send through gear you no longer use. Depending on the item, I may make a direct offer or discuss selling it on consignment.

ReGear is online for now, but the long-term goal is to open a local store in West Auckland. Until then, thanks for supporting a small Kiwi business and helping useful gear find its next owner.
