Coast to Coast 2027: dates are set, entry status comes first
Coast to Coast is scheduled for 12–13 February 2027. The entry ballot has already closed, so confirm your status before planning a race-weekend setup.
Coast to Coast’s 2027 event dates are 12–13 February. If it’s on your list, start by checking your entry status: the ballot advertised by the organiser ran from 16 February to 2 March 2026 and has already closed.
The key dates
The Two Day event is listed for 12–13 February 2027, with the Longest Day on 13 February and the Mountain Run on 12 February. The organiser is not currently accepting new waitlist applications. Its waitlist was last updated on 1 September, with the next update listed for 1 December 2026.
The full multisport event covers 243km. Different categories bring different arrangements and responsibilities.
A gear list is only one part of readiness
Our suggestion is to read the current handbook for your exact category before spending on equipment. Skills, competency requirements, support arrangements and logistics need attention alongside training.
In particular, don’t treat owning the equipment as evidence that you have the technical experience required. Use the organiser’s requirements and appropriate qualified instruction to identify gaps.
Check the complete setup early
For confirmed entrants, make a list of what you own, what can be borrowed and what needs specialist assessment. Include support-crew needs and changeovers, not just what is worn at the start.
Our second-hand gear guide helps with ordinary inspection questions. It does not certify specialist equipment or replace the event’s compulsory checks.
