Mt Hutt’s Volcom Banked Slalom is scheduled for Sunday 4 October 2026. The snowboard-only event returns for its 13th season, with divisions for adults and younger riders.

The day at a glance

  • Registration: 9–10 am at the Kea Club.
  • Racing starts: 11 am.
  • Entry: $20.
  • A helmet is mandatory.

Pick the right division

The organiser lists women, open men, masters aged 35 and over, and grom/super-grom divisions for riders aged 17 and under. Check the entry information for the division that fits before travelling.

Before heading up

Check Mt Hutt’s latest event and mountain information on the morning of the race. Plan arrival around registration, and confirm any lift-access requirements directly with the ski area. Pack warm layers and keep a dry change for afterwards.
